Player One Astronomy's Apollo solar camera series is purpose-built for high-resolution solar imaging. These cameras are engineered to capture extraordinary detail in solar features including sunspots, prominences, granulation, and active regions when paired with appropriate solar filters and dedicated solar telescopes such as the Daystar Quark Chromosphere, Lunt, and Coronado H-alpha systems.

The Apollo solar camera lineup uses Sony IMX sensors including the IMX428, IMX432, IMX429, and IMX174, delivering fast frame rates essential for lucky imaging and atmospheric seeing compensation. All cameras in this series connect via USB 3.0 Type-C and include an ST4 guiding port for autoguiding compatibility.
