About the Sky-Watcher 190MN

The 190MN is one of the most capable imaging tubes in its class. Its Maksutov-Newtonian design pairs a full-aperture Schott-glass meniscus corrector with a Newtonian layout, delivering a flat, well-corrected field and sharper, higher-contrast images than a comparable Schmidt-Newtonian. At f/5.3 it's fast enough for efficient deep-sky imaging, while the 1000mm focal length puts galaxies and planetary nebulae within comfortable reach. The large 64mm secondary gives good field illumination for larger sensors, and it's an equally rewarding visual instrument.

The included PegasusAstro Focus Cube 2 makes this an autofocus-ready package — add your camera and it's set up for automated, repeatable focus through the night.  See our new 190MN listing for full specifications.
