Who It's For

This is a good match if your telescope has a 2″ focuser and an eyepiece, camera or accessory cannot reach focus without more outward travel.

Key Features & Design

  • 75 mm of extension: extends the focusing range for 2″ accessories.
  • 2″ barrel and holder.
  • CNC-machined aluminium alloy: durable, secure connection, black finish.
  • Light and compact: easy to keep in an eyepiece case.

Recommended Uses

  • Reaching focus with 2″ eyepieces or cameras on telescopes with limited outward travel.
  • Imaging trains where extra length is needed in front of a camera or accessory.

Compatibility and Accessory Notes

  • Fits: 2″ focusers; accepts 2″ eyepieces, diagonals and nosepieces.
  • Other length: SVBONY also makes the SV158 in 90 mm (W9119B); ask us if you need that length.

Good to Know Before You Order

  • Moves focus outward only: it helps when you run out of outward travel, not when a camera needs to come inward.
  • 2″ only: a 1.25″ focuser needs the SV157 instead.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it difficult to set up?

No. Insert it into the 2″ focuser and lock it, then fit your eyepiece or camera into it.

Which length should I choose?

That depends on how far short of focus you are. Send us your telescope and accessory and we will work out the length with you.

Bottom Line

In short: a 75 mm aluminium 2″ extension tube that gives 2″ eyepieces and cameras the extra outward travel they need to reach focus.
