This Filter Blank for the Starizona Filter Slider fits into a holder just like a filter but is solid to provide a "shutter" for taking dark frames or bias frames with CCD cameras that do not have mechanical shutters. This includes the most popular Atik and Starlight Xpress cameras.
The Filter Blank shown threaded into a Starizona Filter Slider holder.
The Filter Blank has M48 filter threads and a raised outer lip for easy gripping. It is made of anodized aluminum.
