  • Description

Experience the cosmos in a new light with the Starfield Optics 8" F/6 Dobsonian Telescope. This high-quality instrument is designed for both beginners and experienced stargazers seeking clear, bright images of celestial bodies.

This Starfield Optics Dobsonian Telescope features an 8-inch aperture, providing a generous light-gathering capacity that allows you to observe faint, deep-sky objects such as nebulae and galaxies with remarkable clarity. The telescope's F/6 focal ratio strikes a balance between field of view and magnification, making it versatile for a wide range of astronomical observations.

The Dobsonian design, popularized by John Dobson in the 1960s, is renowned for its simplicity, portability, and affordability. It's optimized for deep-sky viewing, offering a large objective diameter of relatively short focal length. This design is often referred to as a "light bucket" due to its ability to collect a large amount of light, providing bright, detailed views of distant celestial objects.

The Starfield Optics Dobsonian Telescope is built with a sturdy, altazimuth-mounted Newtonian design. The mount allows for easy and smooth adjustments in both altitude (up and down) and azimuth (left and right), making it simple to track objects as they move across the night sky.

The telescope's tube is constructed from high-quality materials, ensuring durability and longevity. The mirror, the heart of any telescope, is made with precision, providing excellent reflectivity and image sharpness.

Whether you're a seasoned astronomer or a beginner stepping into the world of stargazing, the Starfield Optics 8" F/6 Dobsonian Telescope offers an unparalleled viewing experience, bringing the wonders of the universe closer to home."

Features

The Starfield Dobsonian has a very clear purpose, to offer a large aperture and an excellent image quality.

The 8" f/6 Dobsonian features a parabolic primary mirror, made of BK7 glass, to produce sharp and bright images at the eyepiece. With an innovative clutch system, and cooling fans on the primary mirror, the Starfield Dobsonian telescope is a complete telescope system with a 9mm and 30mm plossl eyepieces and a 50mm finder scope
