This is the Pegasus Astro detachable adapter that fits a QHY PoleMaster to an NYX-101 or NYX-88. Detachable is the useful word: the PoleMaster goes on for polar alignment and comes off again, so it is not riding on the mount all night adding weight and another cable.

The NYX mounts have their own polar alignment routine built in. This is for people who already own a PoleMaster and prefer that workflow.
