Product Overview

The Kowa TE-14WD Wide Angle Eyepiece is a fixed 30x wide-angle eyepiece for Kowa's TSN-82SV, TSN-660M and TSN-600 series spotting scopes. Fully multi-coated optics deliver crisp, true-colour images across a wide field, with generous eye relief via a twist-up eyecup. It is also compatible with legacy Kowa TSN-1/2/3/4 scopes and is very well suited to digiscoping.

Who Is This Product Best For?

For owners of Kowa TSN-82SV / 660M / 600 (or legacy TSN-1/2/3/4) scopes who want a sharp, wide fixed-power view — birders, naturalists and digiscopers who prefer a fixed eyepiece over a zoom.

Why Choose This Product?

  • Wide 30x field for easy scanning and tracking.
  • Fully multi-coated optics for crisp, true-colour images.
  • Generous eye relief with a twist-up eyecup.
  • Backwards compatible with legacy Kowa TSN-1/2/3/4 scopes.
  • Well suited to digiscoping.

Recommended Uses

  • Wide-field birding and wildlife observation with a TSN-82SV/660M/600 scope.
  • Digiscoping with smartphone or camera adapters.
  • General terrestrial observation at a fixed power.

Compatibility and Accessory Notes

  • Compatible scopes: Kowa TSN-82SV, TSN-660M and TSN-600 series; also legacy TSN-1/2/3/4.
  • Magnification: 30x fixed.
  • Interchangeable eyepiece; a compatible Kowa scope body is required.
  • Not compatible with the PROMINAR TSN-99/88/77/66 series (use the TE-80XW for those).

Important Limitations

  • This is an accessory eyepiece and requires a compatible TSN-82SV/660M/600 (or legacy) scope.
  • Fixed magnification — choose the TE-9Z for a zoom range.
  • Does not fit the PROMINAR TSN-99/88/77/66 series.
