The JMI Tow Handle XL is a 12″-longer replacement handle bar for an existing JMI Wheeley Bar tow handle — better ergonomics for tall observers and more leverage when pulling a loaded rig over grass or gravel. Same proven design, just stretched out. Made in the USA by JMI (CXB Astro family).

Product Overview

This is the longer handle bar only — it swaps in place of the standard-length bar on a tow handle you already have installed. The extra 12″ means less bending to reach the grip and more mechanical advantage on rough or sloped ground.

Who It's For

Owners who already run a JMI tow handle and want more reach — taller observers who dislike bending to the standard handle, or anyone pulling a fully loaded Wheeley Bar over uneven terrain and wanting extra leverage.

Key Features & Design

  • 12″ longer: Adds reach and leverage over the standard JMI tow handle bar.
  • Universal fit to existing tow handles: Attaches to any existing JMI tow handle bracket — works whether your bar uses 1/2″ or 5/8″ leveling screws.
  • 1-minute swap: Remove the standard bar, install the XL — basic hand tools.
  • USA-made by JMI.

Compatibility and Accessory Notes

  • Fits any existing JMI tow handle assembly — 1/2″ and 5/8″ versions alike.
  • Also fits Wheeley Bars with the 10″ pneumatic upgrade, which ship with a standard tow handle from the factory.
  • Keep both bars and swap by situation if you like — the swap takes about a minute.

Important Limitations

  • Handle bar only — no bracket or mounting hardware. You must already have a JMI tow handle installed. If you don't, order the standard Tow Handle (1/2″ or 5/8″) first.
  • Not a complete tow-handle kit and not a from-scratch install.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's actually in the box?
One longer handle bar — no mounting bracket or attachment hardware. It's a part-swap upgrade for an existing tow handle, not a complete kit.

Will it fit if my bar has 5/8″ leveling screws?
Yes — the XL works with any existing JMI tow handle, 1/2″ or 5/8″. It attaches to the tow handle's bracket the same way regardless.

How much longer is it?
12 inches longer than the standard JMI tow handle.

I have 10″ pneumatic tires — does the XL fit?
Yes. Those bars ship with a standard-length tow handle from the factory, and the XL replaces it the same way.

Bottom Line

A USA-made 12″-longer handle bar that adds reach and leverage to a JMI tow handle you already own. Handle only — you need an existing tow handle installed. Fits 1/2″ and 5/8″ setups and swaps in about a minute.
