- Description
The JMI Battery Pack Holder XL is the oversized version of the standard Battery Pack Holder — built for larger field power stations and battery packs that won't fit the regular tray. Mounts directly to your HD Medium or HD Large Universal Wheeley Bar frame using existing hardware, keeping your power supply securely on the dolly during transport.
Same heavy-duty welded steel construction and rimmed-edge design as the standard model, scaled up to accept significantly larger packs up to 15¾″ × 11¾″.
Product Overview
The Battery Pack Holder XL attaches to the cross-bar of an HD Medium or HD Large Wheeley Bar. The rimmed steel tray keeps the battery secure during movement. Installation uses the existing Wheeley Bar hardware — no drilling or modification required.
Who Is This Product Best For?
Imagers running larger power stations — Jackery, Goal Zero Yeti, or similar sized units — on heavy HD Medium or HD Large setups. If your battery pack exceeds 5½″ × 10″, this is the right holder.
Why Choose This Product?
- Fits large power stations: Accepts packs up to 15¾″ × 11¾″ — no compromising on power capacity at the field.
- Heavy-duty rimmed steel tray: Battery stays put even on rough terrain.
- Mounts using existing hardware: No modification to your Wheeley Bar needed.
- USA-made JMI construction.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why won't it fit near minimum leg extension?
At minimum extension, the cross-bar spacing on the HD models narrows, leaving insufficient clearance for the wider XL tray. Extend your legs to a wider setting or use two standard-size holders instead.
Can I use this on the HD Shorty?
No — the HD Shorty's leg geometry is too compact for the XL holder. Use the standard Battery Pack Holder on HD Shorty setups.
