The iPolar brings the ubiquitous polar alignment scope into the 21st Century by utilizing a digital camera and the downloadable computer software for your Windows PC to provide accurate polar alignment anywhere on earth, even if your pole stars aren't visible or the night is cloudy or suffers from light pollution. Simply follow the on-screen alignment instructions and you'll be properly and accurately polar aligned for your observation or astrophotography sessions. Power for the iPolar comes from the included 24" USB cable that tethers it to your computer, and since it's plug-and-play compatible there are no drivers that need to be installed before your computer recognizes it (Windows compatible only)
