This kit is for anyone that wants to upgrade their Level 5 Gemini 2 system to Level 6 firmware in an easy all-inclusive package you can do yourself.

The upgrade consists of two steps: First updating the servo chips via a chip programmer (easy to follow step-by-step instructions are included) and then replacing the Gemini 2 microSD card with the one provided that includes all the files you need (it will update your hand controller on power up).
 
This kit includes:
  • Pic programmer for updating the Gemini 2 servo pics
  • Pic programmer adapter to match the Gemini 2 pins
  • microSD card #1 with programming software and step-by-step instructions
  • microSD card #2 with complete L6 firmware already installed and ready to go
  • SD card adapter for microSD card
Please note: brand, specifications, and storage size of SD cards may be different from those pictured
 
If you aren't sure of your firmware version, you can use the hand controller MENU->HC->Info to retrieve the firmware versions of both the hand controller and the Gemini 2 unit
 
This upgrade is only for the Gemini 2 system. This does not work for Digital Drive (492) and Gemini 1 systems
