Snap a camera onto your dovetail bar — quick-release, no tools.

The Farpoint Dovetail Camera Mount Quick Release Adapter (FDCM) is a saddle-and-plate assembly that mounts to any D-size (Losmandy-style) dovetail plate and puts a standard tripod-socket camera platform on top. The quick-release mechanism lets you attach and remove the camera without tools. The dovetail plate (sold separately) stays bolted to your telescope; the camera saddle snaps on and off in seconds.
