Safety first: never point any telescope, finder or binocular at the Sun without a filter designed for it and fitted correctly. A dedicated hydrogen-alpha telescope or a purpose-built front filter is the only safe way. If you are unsure whether something you already own is safe to use on the Sun, ask us before you use it.
