The ToupTek Filter Holder is a simple threaded filter mount that accepts a standard 1.25" or 2" threaded filter and attaches directly to your camera nose or focuser drawtube. It provides a rigid, secure single-filter position for dedicated narrowband or broadband imaging with a fixed filter configuration.

Who Is This Product Best For?

Astrophotographers who image with a single fixed filter — such as a dual narrowband Ha+OIII filter or a UV/IR cut — and want a secure, low-profile way to mount it in the optical train without a filter wheel.

Why Choose This Product?

  • Threaded connection — filters thread in securely; no risk of accidental rotation or drop
  • 1.25" or 2" compatibility — specify format at order
  • Low profile — minimal back-focus impact
  • CNC aluminium construction

Recommended Uses

  • Single fixed-filter setups (dual narrowband, UV/IR cut, light pollution filter)
  • Filter mounting on camera nose pieces and focuser drawtubes

Important Limitations

  • Single filter position only — for multi-filter imaging, use the AFW-M or AFW-L filter wheel

Our Recommendation

The Filter Holder is a cost-effective solution for single-filter setups. Straightforward and reliable — nothing to go wrong.
