Product Overview

The DX-S version of Takahashi's T-mount for Nikon bodies. It attaches a Nikon camera to a Takahashi telescope so the telescope takes the place of a lens. Takahashi builds the Nikon T-mount in more than one form — the DX-S here and the DX-60W — which differ on the telescope side.

Good to Know Before You Order

DX-S or DX-60W: two Nikon T-mounts exist and they terminate differently on the telescope side. We stock both, and confirming which your train needs takes one message.

Mechanical only: no electrical contact, so the camera has no aperture or lens data. Shooting is in manual with the telescope as the lens, which is normal for prime-focus work.
