About the SVBONY SV208

The SV208 is an 8x50 straight-through finder that shows the sky upright and correct left-to-right, so what you see in the finder matches a star chart and the naked-eye view. An illuminated crosshair with adjustable brightness makes it easy to centre targets against a dark sky. The eyepiece and objective focus independently, and the eyepiece uses a standard, removable 1.25-inch fitting.

  • Magnification / aperture: 8x, 50 mm
  • Focal length: 185 mm
  • Field of view: 7.3°
  • Eye relief / exit pupil: 21 mm / 6.25 mm
  • Optics: 2-element achromatic objective, fully multi-coated
  • Image: correct image, straight-through
  • Reticle: illuminated crosshair, LED with adjustable brightness (2 × LR754 coin cells)
  • Weight: 632.5 g (1.39 lb)
