Product Overview

The Kowa TE-11WZ II Wide Angle Zoom Eyepiece is a premium interchangeable eyepiece for Kowa's PROMINAR TSN-99, TSN-88, TSN-77 and TSN-66 spotting scopes. It delivers a 25–60x zoom range on the TSN-88/77/66 (and 30–70x on the larger TSN-99), with XD and field-flattener lens elements for true colour, edge-to-edge sharpness and a wide field across the entire zoom range. A twist-up eyecup provides generous, adjustable eye relief.

Who Is This Product Best For?

For Kowa PROMINAR scope owners — birders, naturalists, hunters and digiscopers — who want one versatile do-everything eyepiece. The continuous zoom makes it easy to locate a subject at low power and zoom in for detail, and it is very well suited to smartphone and camera digiscoping.

Why Choose This Product?

  • Versatile 25–60x zoom (30–70x on the TSN-99) in a single eyepiece.
  • XD and field-flattener lenses for true colour and edge-to-edge sharpness.
  • Wide field of view throughout the zoom range.
  • Generous eye relief with a twist-up eyecup.
  • Excellent for digiscoping with smartphones and cameras.

Recommended Uses

  • Birding, wildlife and nature observation with a TSN PROMINAR scope.
  • Digiscoping with smartphone or camera adapters.
  • Long-range terrestrial viewing where flexible magnification helps.

Compatibility and Accessory Notes

  • Compatible scopes: Kowa PROMINAR TSN-99, TSN-88, TSN-77 and TSN-66.
  • Magnification: 25–60x on the TSN-88/77/66; 30–70x on the TSN-99.
  • This is an interchangeable eyepiece; a compatible Kowa PROMINAR scope body is required.
  • Not compatible with the TSN-82SV / TSN-660M / TSN-600 or legacy TSN-1/2/3/4 series.

Important Limitations

  • This is an accessory eyepiece, not a complete optic — it requires a compatible TSN PROMINAR scope.
  • Fits only the TSN-99/88/77/66 PROMINAR series; it will not fit the 82SV/600 or legacy bayonet scopes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our Recommendation

If you own a Kowa PROMINAR TSN-99/88/77/66 and want a single versatile eyepiece, the TE-11WZ II zoom is our top pick — flexible magnification, premium XD optics and excellent digiscoping performance. Prefer a fixed eyepiece for the widest field or longest eye relief? Consider the TE-80XW or TE-20H.
