Plate-solving accuracy for push-to and DSC observing
The Astro Devices Nexus eFinder adds fast, camera-based plate solving to compatible telescope setups, helping observers align faster and locate targets with much higher confidence. Used with the Nexus DSC Pro, it gives real-time pointing assistance and improves accuracy for visual astronomy, DIY Dobsonians, and mounts that need a more precise digital pointing workflow.
Why choose the Nexus eFinder?
- Built-in camera performs plate solving against the night sky
- Accuracy of better than one arc minute
- Simplifies 1-star, 2-star, and 3-star alignment routines
- Works with Nexus DSC Pro, ServoCAT, and SkyTracker systems
- Can also be used with SkySafari Plus/Pro in live mode
- Two USB-C ports: one for DSC connection and one for power
- Creates its own Wi-Fi access point/hotspot
- Dew shield included to help protect the objective lens
PLEASE NOTE: Nexus eFinder does not replace encoders when used with Nexus DSC Pro. When Nexus eFinder is used in ‘Live’ mode (with SkySafari Plus/Pro) then encoders are not required.
