About the Delos 4.5mm

The Delos line was built to solve the classic short-focal-length problem: at 4.5mm most eyepieces force your eye right up against the lens, but the Delos delivers a generous 20mm of eye relief across its full 72° apparent field — comfortable viewing even for eyeglass wearers, and a genuine advantage during long high-power sessions on planets, the Moon, and tight double stars. The adjustable, lockable eyeguard lets you dial in exactly the right eye position and keep it there, and the barrel is threaded for standard 1.25" filters. It also accepts Tele Vue's DIOPTRX astigmatism correctors for observers who prefer to view without glasses. Field stop measures 5.6mm.
