About the ZWO 30mm f/4 Mini Guide Scope

The 30F4 pairs a 30mm objective with a 120mm focal length in a package that weighs just 500g complete with its guider ring and dovetail — light enough that it costs you almost nothing in payload on even a small mount. The front-part focuser gives 20mm of tube travel and a 0–20mm adjustable back focus range, so getting a guide camera to focus is quick and stays put once set. It is compatible with all ZWO ASI cameras and pairs naturally with the ASI120MM Mini and similar small-sensor guiders.

ZWO has discontinued this guide scope, having replaced it with the 30F5 ED triplet. The 30F4 built a strong reputation as a simple, rugged, no-nonsense guiding solution and remains a popular choice on the used market — this one is priced well below the discontinued unit's original retail.
