You can now upgrade your ZEQ25 mount, which uses servo motors, to the CEM25P stepper motor package. We have developed technology to deliver all of the benefits of stepper motors (reliability, accuracy, quietness) without the high power consumption associated with stepper motors.
This service will upgrade the ZEQ25 to stepper motors and new control electronics, using replacement worm gears, with low PE worm (~ ±10 arcsec) in RA. It will also upgrade 8408 hand controller star catalog and firmware.
Customer is responsible for S&H.
