The Helium Tripod offers a host of innovative features:

- Fine level adjusters help achieve optimal level
- Swiveling feet can be fit with spikes or other third-party commercial tripod feet based on your observing site (grass, wood, concrete, gravel, etc.)
- Two built-in bubble levels to ease the coarse leveling process (bubble levels have 10 arc minutes per one-tenth inch accuracy)
- The 6061 aluminum tripod legs are red anodized with black anodized aluminum structural components (top plate, feet, etc.).
The result of these innovative features is an exceptionally stable and readily portable imaging platform that can be quickly setup, leveled and aligned with the celestial pole and easily taken down each night.
