The Skywatcher AL-EQ55 Mount
The EQ-AL55i Pro is the perfect entry to intermediate level equatorial platform for observers and imagers looking to build a serious rig without breaking the bank.
Redesigned from the popular EQM-35 the EQ-AL55i features fully encased motor housings and two positions for the counterweight bar and optional pier extension making this mount the perfect choice for observers and imagers in lower latitudes.
Featuring Wi-Fi, Bluetooth SynScan, and ASCOM telescope control, 22-pound payload capacity, a guidescope and SNAP port, the EQ-AL55i is a perfect choice for a mid-size imaging mount.
This versatile mount is equipped with a two-position adjustable counterweight bar, allowing it to be used at all latitudes from 0° to 90° and thus avoiding the problems that arise with most other mounts at extreme polar altitudes. It is therefore an ideal travelling mount!
The EQ-AL55i is fully controlled with a smartphone via the built-in WLAN module and the free SynScan Pro app software. This app is available for iOS and Android.The EQ-AL55i Pro mount is equipped with an illuminated polar finder scope for precise alignment to the celestial pole.
It offers connections for USB-C, autoguider and an optionally available SynScan hand control box. It also has a socket for triggering a DSLR camera.
The EQ-AL55i Pro is a very portable mount for mobile astrophotographers, but also for visual observers.

The Starfield F/4 Imaging Newtonian
The Primary mirror is made of BK7 optical glass which is known for its thermal stability. The coated mirror is not only dielectrically coated, but also it has a protective layer of SiO2 (quartz) for durability. Mounted in a cell with six easy to use collimation knobs for easy collimation. The mirror center is also marked which makes using a laser simple.
Features
The Rack and Pinion focuser with 10:1 2 speed control comes standard. Providing enough lifting power for a DSLR or CMOS deep sky camera. A motor can be added for even great automated control! Split Tube rings with felt, to not markup the OTA tube finish, come with a vixen style dovetail with adjustment screws.
It is also easy to add accessories or another dovetail to the top of the OTA with the provided M6 screw holes located on the top of the rings. The inside of the OTA has a matte black interior finish to reduce stray reflection and increase image contrast.
The overall length of the OTA extends past the focuser, to also prevent stay light from entering the telescope and increase overall contrast. An 8x50mm finder scope, and extension tube is included as well for visual use.
