We put together an ultra portable package that can be used for both Visual and Astrophotography. The Starfield 80mm F/7 Telescope package and the Explore Scientific iEXOS-100 w/PMC8 telescope mount come together making a system that is both portable and powerful. With the power and flexibility of the PMC8 system, you can control the mount with a table, and soon a smartphone. Get the wide field views with sharp optics provided by the ED80 telescope. Utilizing ED glass to provide colour free views.
Add the provided Starfield 0.8x reducer, and guide system, and you have an imaging platform that will capture the deep space objects you desire. When using an APS-C DSLR, a field of view of 2.87° x 1.91° can be achieved. Easily capturing all of the Andromeda Galaxy!
Just add your camera, and get your self some software. We recommend Sharpcap, APT, or NINA to start with.
