Keep Your SeeStar S50 Optics Clear and Sharp
A dew shield is an essential accessory to help keep your telescope's optics free from moisture buildup. It also helps block unwanted stray light, improving image clarity.
This dew shield is custom-designed for the ZWO SeeStar S50 and is 3D printed using durable, black filament. The 3D printing process may result in some minor surface textures, such as visible layer lines, but these do not affect performance.
Important Usage Information:

The SeeStar S50 may attempt to close with the dew shield attached, which could cause the shield to dislodge or get caught against the mount and casing.

The mount arm automatically closes after 10–15 minutes of inactivity if the telescope isn’t actively tracking a target.

When the battery level drops to approximately 5%, the arm will also close automatically.
To avoid potential issues, always remove the dew shield when storing the SeeStar S50 or leaving it inactive for extended periods. Proper care will ensure both your telescope and your dew shield remain in top condition for many nights of clear, crisp viewing.
