Moving focus off the primary mirror and onto a Crayford at the rear cell removes mirror flop from the equation: focus happens in the focuser, and the mirror stays locked where you put it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe CS2 threads directly onto a standard SCT rear cell at 2″ x 24 TPI, so it fits Schmidt-Cassegrains carrying that thread without an adapter.
